Located in the heart of downtown Lexington, the Mary Todd Lincoln House is within easy walking distance of downtown hotels, the Civic Center and Rupp Arena.

 

The museum will be closed on Memorial Day, May 27th.

Mon. - Sat. (closed Sun.)

Tours 10AM-3PM (closes 4PM)

Tours are on the hour and last approximately one hour. 

Tours are limited to 15 people per tour.

Admission:

Cash or check  only

$10 Adults

$5 Children 6-12 yrs        

Free Children under 6 yrs

(Two adult admissions for the price of one for all active duty members of the United States Armed Forces.)

Group and School Tours:

$8 Group rate available for 15 or more visitors.  Group tours are available by appointment year round. 

School tours, including homeschoolers, are available for K-12 grades at a rate of $3 per student; $5 per teacher; $8 per other adult chaperones and are available by appointment year round.

Parking:

Free parking is located directly behind the house.

Accessibility:

The Mary Todd Lincoln House is partially wheelchair accessible.  The first floor of the museum can be reached via a handicap lift and is wheelchair navigable.  The upper floors of the museum are not wheelchair accessible.  Photographs of the 2nd and 3rd floors are available for visitors who are unable to or choose not to tour the upstairs.  Written text materials are provided for the hearing impaired and dry erase boards are available to facilitate communication between the tour guide and a hearing impaired visitor if requested.  For visitors who have difficulty standing for extended periods of time, folding chairs are available upon request.  Guide dogs with harness are permitted.
