Located in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, the Mary Todd Lincoln House was the family home of the wife of 16th president Abraham Lincoln. Mary Lincoln was sophisticated, educated and versed in politics. Yet, her life was marked by tragedy. Visit her childhood home to learn about her complex life from childhood to widowhood!
The first historic site dedicated to a first lady, the museum features period furniture, family portraits, and original artifacts from the Todd and Lincoln families. The museum offers both self-guided and guided tours, a small garden and a charming museum store.
