MAPS AND DIRECTIONS

The Mary Todd Lincoln House is located in a downtown commercial district, not a residential neighborhood, and is bounded by Central Bank Convention Center and Main Street Baptist Church.

Free/Validated Parking: There are three parking options.

1.) The museum’s parking area is located behind the museum. This is accessible via Tucker Street (looks like an alleyway off of Main Street).

2.) A large parking lot is next door at Main Street Baptist Church. Museum visitors recieve two hours of free parking in this lot. You pick up your ticket for the two-hours free validation at the museum upon check-in. (This lot is accessible from Main Street.)

3.) Metered parking is also available on Main Street and is free on weekends and holidays.

Heading East:  From Interstate 64 East take exit 115 (KY-922 S/Newtown Pike), turn right off ramp to head South to Main Street 3.2 miles. Turn left on to Main Street. Pass through Jefferson Street, taking an immediate right down Tucker Street (looks like an alleyway) between Main Street Baptist Church and Mary Todd Lincoln House.

Heading South:  Interstate 75 South will merge with Interstate 64 East. Then follow directions above.

Heading West: From Interstate 64 West take exit 113 (US-27/US-68W/N. Broadway). Turn right off ramp to head South to W. Main Street 3.4 miles. Turn right on W. Main Street. The Mary Todd Lincoln House is on the left beside Heritage Hall Lexington Convention Center. Turn Left down Tucker Street (looks like an alleyway) between the Mary Todd Lincoln House and Main Street Baptist Church.

Heading North:  Interstate 75 North will merge with Interstate 64 West. Then follow directions above.
