Gwen Thompson, executive director of the Mary Todd Lincoln House will present at the Kentucky Historical Society’s celebration of the 226th anniversary of Kentucky’s statehood. The talk titled “First Lady of Controversy” will be presented during the Food for Thought luncheon on Friday, June 1.
Food for Thought runs from noon to 2 p.m. Admission is $25 for members of the Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) and $30 for others. It includes a three-course catered lunch, the talk and admission to all KHS exhibits and sites. Reservations are required by May 25. To register, call 502-564-1792, ext. 4408.
